Dynamics 365
Dynamics 365 (D365) is a suite of applications designed by Microsoft. It’s purpose is to help businesses manage everyday processes. D365 comes in 3 key formats;
- Customer Engagement (CRM)
- Finance and Operations (ERP)
- Business Central
Customer Engagement and Finance and Operations each consist of a number of modules. The modules are essentially ‘templates’ for managing a predefined set of enterprise type processes. However Business Central, is a ‘one stop shop’. It is designed to help small to medium sized businesses run everything from one place.
The Microsoft Power Platform is comprised of a number of tools. These tools can be used to create business applications in a ‘low code/no code’ environment. This means they can be used by people with little or no previous experience in technology. The Power Platform is comprised of 5 key products;
- Power Apps
- Power Automate
- Power Virtual Agents
- Power Pages
- Power BI
